Missions:
Our Mission: Remain a beacon in our community by building on our rich missional heritage as a church that serves locally, regionally and globally.
When we give to the church, we are taking our name off of our money and putting Jesus’ name on it. We have been a consistent supporter of many local ministries including Habitat for Humanity, Love in Action, the People Center, Four Pointes, and Supper House. We also support missions in Haiti and Belize, as well as the ministry of our presbytery. Your generosity makes our generosity possible.
We have a commitment to tithe ten percent of what we receive, so our budget begins with what we are giving away from ourselves to God’s purposes in the world.
We strive to be steadfast and responsible in supporting local and global missions, ensuring that our giving does the most good. This past year, we began supporting two Presbyterian mission co-workers and we sent an adult mission team to Belize. In 2020, our youth are going to serve our partners in Belize, and we will faithfully use the resources of the church to live out our value of being “at the heart of the community.”
