Feeding America Food Truck

With your gifts, the Mission Committee is sponsoring a Feeding America food truck on Friday, June 7.
The food truck is essentially a farmers market on wheels, so it’s an effective avenue for distributing fresh, perishable food to those who need it. In preparation for this event, one of the food bank’s trucks is filled with 5,000 – 20,000 pounds of food—half of which is fresh produce—and driven to the the parking lot of St. Patrick’s Church in Grand Haven. Once there, volunteers are needed to help distribute the food to our community members who need it.
If you are able to help with the food distribution, please contact Mike Weller, or just come to the St. Pat’s parking lot on US-31 from 9:00-11:00. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together!
