An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Sunday and Friday, repeating until October 29, 2023
This series is based on presentations by Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, an atomospheric scientist who studies climate change. The topics for each segment of the 4-part series are as follows:
- What is climate change?
- Faith communities and climate change
- Politics, power, sociology, and climate change
- Now what? Is it too late?
Each session will end with an opportunity for discussion. Our goal is to draw together people of all backgrounds and faiths in shared concerns and common values.
This series is free and open to the public, and is being offered on Sundays October 8, 15, 22, and 29, meeting 4-5:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church Grand Haven. Light refreshments will be served. The program is presented by the certified Earth Care Team of FPC.
