First Presbyterian Church offers Cooling Center during Coast Guard Parade
As part of its ongoing commitment to serve the community, First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven will open its doors as a cooling center during this year’s Coast Guard Grand Parade on Saturday, August 2.
The church will be open from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m., offering a comfortable place for parade-goers to cool off, enjoy a refreshing drink of water, and use the restrooms. Conveniently located at 508 Franklin Avenue, right along the parade route at the corner of Fifth and Franklin Streets, the church provides an ideal spot for a mid-day break from the summer sun.
So when you’re out enjoying the Coast Guard festivities and parade, we invite you to stop in. The doors facing the parade route will be open, and our accessible entrance is on Franklin Avenue.
We’re here to help you stay cool, hydrated, and refreshed this Coast Guard Saturday!
