Our Family Life Ministries program at FPGH strives to nurture and develop mature Christian disciples. Even from a very young age, children and youth have the ability to grasp the beauty and love of God.
As an integrated part of our church, we want children through adulthood to be consistently growing in a faith that is rich in its history, deep in its commitment, connected in community, dynamic in its creativity, and life-giving in its ministry.
Children’s Ministries & SHINE!
Children are an important part of the First Presbyterian Church family and we are committed to nurturing their faith by ministering God’s teachings through worship, spiritual formation, service and fellowship. Under the direction of our Children’s Ministries team we are able to provide lively, interactive lessons each week.

Our youth programs include Sunday evening youth groups for 7th & 8th graders (“Roots”) and high school students (“Vine”). On Sunday mornings, the entire group meets for a program we call Breakfast Club.

Young Adult Ministries
We are committed to the spiritual growth of our young adults and families. Our programs are evolving and expanding to meet the needs of those in this age group. We want to be the place to be for fellowship, spirituality and learning more about the Christian walk.

Growing in Faith
Growing in Faith is our Sunday morning all-ages spiritual growth hour. Classes are offered for every age and interest! In addition to Shine! and Breakfast Club for children and youth, we offer a variety choices for the mature membership of our church family. Our classes meet from 10-11 a.m., between the worship services.
