Our Mission:  Provide relevant and engaging worship that nurtures a growing community of faith.

Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of our worship services - it provides an opportunity for reflection, renewal, and religious expression. Music, dance, dramatic scripture readings, and visual arts are all incorporated into worship.

Our 9:00 Sunday morning worship service
is a traditional format, with a full choir and our majestic pipe organ.
The music for this service is led by our
Director of Music and Fine Arts, Maryanne Beery.

Our 10:30 Sunday morning worship service is a contemporary format, with a band and projection screen.
The music for this service is led by our Gathering Music Director, Lorenzo Robertson.

Voices of Fire Belong in the Choir!

The Contemporary Service is launching its own expression of choir by introducing  a “Choir Sunday” format.  The choir will sing once a month on the last Sunday of the month and at special events throughout the year.

The choir is for all ages, and all those who enjoy praising the Lord in singing are invited to sing with us.  The monthly practice will be held on the Thursday night before the Sunday we sing. The first special song we will do is called “Great Is He” which is  rockin’ yet still appropriate for Pentecost Sunday.

Those of you who are interested please feel free to contact me (Lorenzo – lrobertson@fpgh.org, or call the church office and ask for me) for music and practice materials!  I would love to have you come sing with us and share your passion for the Lord with the body here at 1st Pres!
